These PCB drill bits are 1.0mm solid tungsten carbide micro drills for clean, accurate through-holes in printed circuit boards. The 10-pack uses the standard 1/8 in (3.175mm) shank found on PCB drilling machines and desktop CNC routers.
1.0mm is a common hole size for through-hole component leads, pin headers and connectors. Carbide stays sharp in abrasive glass-fiber board, but it is brittle: run the bits in a drill press, CNC or PCB drill stand rather than freehand.

FAQ
Can I use these in a handheld drill?
Not recommended. Side load from a handheld drill snaps carbide micro drills. Use a drill press, CNC or a rotary tool in a drill stand.
What spindle speed should I use?
Carbide micro drills work best at high speed with a slow, steady feed. Follow your machine's guidance for 1mm bits in FR-4.
