This felt flap disc is a 5 in (125mm) wool polishing wheel for angle grinders, used for the final polishing step after sanding. Overlapping wool felt flaps, used with polishing compound, bring stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper and glass to a bright finish.
The disc is rated for a maximum of 3,000 RPM. Run it on a variable-speed angle grinder or polisher set to low speed.

FAQ
Can I use a felt flap disc on any angle grinder?
Only at 3,000 RPM or less. Many fixed-speed angle grinders run much faster than that, so use a variable-speed grinder or a polisher set to low speed.
Do I need polishing compound?
Yes. Apply compound to the felt for the polishing action; the felt on its own will not remove sanding marks.
Which pack size should I choose?
The 1-pack and 2-pack suit occasional jobs. The 5 and 10-packs are for shop use where discs are changed often.
