This HSS end mill is a 4 flute high-speed steel milling cutter for side milling, slotting and profiling metal on milling machines, CNC machining centers and engraving machines. Buy one size from 1.5mm to 13mm or a multi-size set for the shop.

Four flutes give a smooth finish and a stable cut in steel. Each size lists its shank, cutting length and overall length, so you can check it against your collet before you order.

Size guide

The 7mm comes in two lengths: 19mm cut / 63mm overall or 25mm cut / 75mm overall. Larger sizes use larger shanks, so check your collet or end mill holder size.

FAQ

2 flute or 4 flute end mill?
A 4 flute end mill gives a better finish and more rigidity in steel and cast iron. For deep slots in aluminum, a 2 flute end mill clears chips more easily.

Can I use an end mill in a drill press?
Not for side milling. A drill press chuck is not built for side loads. Use a milling machine, a CNC mill or a lathe milling attachment.
